House edge is the built-in leak. Provably fair only proves the leak was not swapped after you clicked. You can still lose a fair game.
On cases the edge lives in the loot table. On crash and limbo it lives in the instant-bet math. On roulette-style slides it lives in the house pocket. On slots it lives in the studio RTP.
Rakeback returns a slice of that leak. It does not invert it. A 5% rakeback on a 5% edge is break-even only in a spreadsheet that ignores variance and bonus wagering.
